Why You Can Safely Use Coconut Oil for Sex

Why You Can Safely Use Coconut Oil for Sex

Coconut oil is not just a great carrier oil for cosmetic products, but it’s also great for the vagina. With its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties coconut oil naturally wards off infections and kills the bad bacteria that may be present surrounding the vulva or inside of the vagina. Coconut oil makes a great lubricant for intercourse as well. The best thing about this oil is if there were bacteria present associated with some irritation, this should stop it immediately. It is my belief that this has something to do with the oils natural cleansing properties.

Women should apply the oil on and around the vulva from front to back before sex. Doing so will prep the area by increasing the natural fluids and create a warming sensation (no this doesn’t tingle, burn, or sting). I have also found that applying coconut oil right before creates a barrier by helping the vulva stay clear of any bacteria presented from the penis. I am NOT saying that coconut oil prevents any STD’s or STI’s, and I would also not recommend to use this oil with a condom as it may reduce the effects of the spermicides and other chemicals on the condom.

One of my favorite experiences with using coconut oil daily after a shower or bath is the smell. I have found that if you have a strong smell, the oil helps stabilize the scent by creating a more neutral smell. Every woman has her own unique scent of course, and some may be stronger than others.

An alternative to coconut oil is Babassu oil. Some people have nut allergies which makes it difficult for them to use products which include coconut oil. Like the coconut oil, babassu oil also has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties which contributes to the healing of the skin as well as keeping wounds clean. In addition the babassu oil improves the skins texture and reduces the bacteria.

If you experience any sort of irritation try the alternative and if the situation still occurs you should stop use immediately and contact your physician.

Anal Sex

For those of you who may be a little more adventurous, coconut oil is a great lubricant for entering through the back door. The proper application would be for the woman to apply the desired amount around the anal area, as well as the man apply the desired amount to his penis. Always remember to NEVER try to go from the roota to the toota. No ma’am, no sir!!! Guys you MUST wash yourself off first and then proceed to enter the vagina.

Shout out to the co-co-nut…lol.
