7 Must Have Foods for a Healthy Vagina and Sex Life

Ever wondered which foods contribute to a healthier sex life and overall health of a woman's reproductive system? Well you've found the right place for that information!

1. Sweet Potato

2. Cranberries

3. Left Green Veggies

4.Omega-3

5. Probiotics

6. Avocados

7. Apples

Sweet Potatoes are great for fertility in both men and women. Rich in vitamin A and beta carotene. Sweet potatoes also strengthen and protect the uterine walls, as well as contribute to healthy fetal development. I was once told by a beautiful African woman that yams or sweet potatoes contribute to twins. LOL low and behold a year later i had twins...not to mention my favorite thing to eat is a good ole sweet potato!

Cranberries should be consumed in the most natural form or at least the unsweetened juice (no ocean spray or the yummy simply delicious cranberry cocktail…personal fav). They are full of antioxidants, and acidic compounds which are powerful infection fighters that can keep bacteria from adhering to the bladder walls.

    • Great UTI Prevention

    • High in both vitamin E and C which boost the immunity

      • Tip: Not a fan of the natural cranberry taste, try the AZO cranberry pills instead or mix the frozen fruit into a smoothie.

Leafy Greens decrease vaginal dryness. Dark leafy greens are blood purifying and enhance circulation which helps with vaginal dryness and increases stimulation.

    • Rich in vitamin E, magnesium , and calcium all contributing to vaginal muscles health.

      • Tip: The best choices include kale, collard greens, spinach (my fav), and chard.

Omega-3 fatty acids increase blood flow circulation, which is amazing for your sex drive!

    • Eases period cramps more effective than ibuprofen

    • Relieves vaginal dryness

      • Tip: Eat more salmon, flax seed, eggs, and walnuts

Probiotics which can be found in fermented foods such as yogurt and pickled onions are great for both the gut health and balancing the pH.

    • Wards off infection

    • Live and active cultures provides our bodies with a boost of good bacteria, ultimately preventing east infections.

Avocados are the healthy fats! B6, and potassium are great for the libido; enhancing lubrication, strengthening vaginal walls, and may increase IVF success due to its unsaturated fats.

      • Tip: Cook with avocado oil

Apples promote better sexual function, arousal, lubrication, and the ability to orgasm.

    • Stimulates vaginal blood flow.

      • Tip: Women who consume 2 or more servings of citrus fruit per day are less likely to develop uterine fibroids.
